Guess Who's NOT from Here.....US !

We think of our solar system as being part of the Milky Way galaxy, but astronomers are discovering that we are actually part of another galaxy, the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy, that is in the process of colliding with the Milky Way.

At first, this might seem to be of little importance, but that would appear to be very far from the truth. As it happens, our solar system is in the process of entering the plane of the Milky Way, meaning that an increase in solar energy output will be taking place, and indeed, we see evidence all across the solar system that this is indeed happening.
Among changes recently observed are dark spots appearing on Pluto, possibly as a result of increasing temperatures, auroras on Saturn because of heightened electromagnetic activity, changes in the magnetic fields of Earth, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter, and the steady melting of the Martian polar caps.
